I took the kids with me and felt awkward the whole time. It didn’t really come across as family friendly, and we kind of felt passed around instead of being welcomed or helped properly. Not the best experience for a family outing.

Went to Hackney Empire last week and it was such a nice surprise because the place felt really clean, the toilets were tidy, the floors looked like they’d been properly looked after, and there wasn’t any mess around the seats, which just made the whole night feel a lot more comfortable and enjoyable.

Booked tickets online for a show and it was simple. Picking seats didnt take long, the payment went through first try, and the confirmation email showed up right away. No faffing around or anything, which was exactly what I wanted. Id definitely use it again.

I don’t know, lately it just feels like I keep seeing the same kind of shows over and over again. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ll scroll through and think, okay, haven’t I basically watched this already? It’s not terrible or anything, just kind of boring after a while. I’d love to see a bit more variety pop up.

The outside has that nice old-school look, which I really wanted to like, but once I got inside it felt cramped and worn out. The seats weren’t very comfortable, and the older layout made it hard to really enjoy the place. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like it didn’t live up to the charm from the outside. Not really for me.

I went here recently the seats were bad. There was hardly any leg room, and after about 20 minutes the seat felt so hard that I kept shifting around the entire show. The view might’ve been fine, but I couldn’t really enjoy it because I was too uncomfortable. It also felt a bit like moving goalposts, you expect to just settle in and watch the performance, but then you’re constantly trying to adjust and make the seating work. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back unless they sort the comfort out.

I had a really lovely time at Hackney Empire, the staff made such a nice first impression. The person at the door was super friendly and pointed us in the right direction, which instantly made the place feel welcoming. I was practically ready to declare them hospitality heroes on the spot. The only tiny drama was the bar queue, which felt like it was moving at the speed of a sleepy snail, and a few staff members looked rushed. But no one was rude at all, just clearly busy and a bit all over the place. Overall, it was still a warm and pleasant experience.

I went to a show at Hackney Empire and it was absolutely packed, though to be fair, I probably didn’t help myself by turning up a bit later than I should have. Getting in took a little while, but the staff kept the queue moving and were clear about where everyone needed to go. Once inside, it didn’t feel as chaotic as I expected, even during the interval. Leaving was a bit slow too, but I wasn’t in a massive rush, so it didn’t really bother me much. There’s maybe a bit of room for improvement, but overall I thought they handled a very busy night well.

I went to Hackney Empire last week with a friend after grabbing a quick bite nearby, and the sound was disappointing. We were sitting upstairs, and so much of the dialogue just got lost. Some parts were really muffled, and then the music would suddenly be way too loud, before going oddly quiet again. It meant we missed loads of the jokes, which was frustrating because the show itself seemed like it could’ve been great. The building is lovely and has a nice atmosphere, but the sound issues kind of ruined the night for me. I probably wouldn’t rush back unless they improve it.

Had a good night at Hackney Empire and really enjoyed the show, but just a heads up, the toilets weren’t great during the interval. The queue was long and it all felt quite cramped, so if you’re going, maybe try to go before the break or be ready to wait. They weren’t disgusting or unusable, just seemed like they needed more frequent checks and cleaning when it’s busy. Didn’t ruin the evening, but it was definitely a bit annoying.

I had a tough time figuring out the wheelchair route, and it felt "confusing". I was hoping the staff would be able to point me in the right direction, but they weren’t much help, which made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be

The venue has a really nice old theatre feel, and the crowd was friendly, which made it a pleasant place to be. Some spots did feel a little cramped and noisy though, so it wasn’t the most comfortable atmosphere. Anyway... it was still an okay experience overall, just not quite amazing.

I was expecting a long wait, but the queue actually moved quickly. The drinks were good too, so overall it was a better experience than I thought it would be.

I went to Hackney Empire recently and, to be honest, I couldn’t really relax. I know I probably notice safety stuff more than some people, but the door security felt really rushed and there were groups hanging around in crowded areas without anyone seeming to keep an eye on things. Once inside, it still felt a bit disorganised, like the staff weren’t totally sure what was happening. Maybe I caught them on an off night, but I spent more time noticing all that than enjoying myself, so I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

The ticket prices felt fair enough, which was a relief because I usually feel like I’m the one getting stuck paying too much. The seats were decent too, not perfect or anything, but better than I expected considering my luck with this kind of thing...

I went to Hackney Empire last week and had a really smooth experience getting there. The location is great — Hackney Central is only a short walk away, and there are bus stops really close by too. I didn’t have any trouble arriving or getting home after the show, which made the whole evening feel a lot more relaxed. There are also plenty of places nearby to grab food beforehand, so it’s a really convenient spot for a night out.

I went to see a show here it was just okay. There were definitely some fun moments, and the cast did a good job, but a few parts really dragged. The sound was also off here and there, which made it harder to enjoy than it should’ve been. I wouldn’t say it was a terrible experience, but for what I paid, I expected better. I’m hoping they’ll acknowledge the issues somehow, maybe with a credit or some kind of compensation, because it didn’t feel like I got the full experience.

I tried calling the box office twice about an issue with my booking, i left both calls feeling a bit brushed off. Maybe I caught them at a bad time or maybe I didn’t explain it clearly enough, but the staff came across as rude and my problem still didn’t get sorted
